CHERRY PIE POPS

I'm 
Ingredients:
1 batch shortcrust pastry
100g cherry juice
100g morello cherries 
100g sugar
Pinch of cinnamon
Pinch of mixed spice 

1.Mix all the ingredients except the pastry together in a pan and heat till thickened correctly.

2.Next leave jam to cool.
3.qhilst wiring for cherries to cool roll out the pastry to a 1/4 inch thick.

4.Nexr place rounds on the baking sheet and place a stick on each 

5.Next egg wash all of them lightly and add a tea spoonful of jam on each one.

6.Next add another round disk in each and deal with a stick all the way around 

7.Finally egg wash and bake.

CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES




Ingredients:
150g dark chocolate
150g double cream
25g butter
1 orange zest
cocoa powder
icing sugar
desiccated coconut.

Method:
1.Heat the cream and butter until touch hot in the microwave.
2.Next pour this over the chocolate and mix until thoroughly combined.

3.Split the chocolate into two separate containers and add the orange zest to one.
4.Set uncovered in the fridge for about 2 hours and then roll even sized balls.

For the chcolate orange ones i rolled them in cocoa powder.
With the plain ones i rolled some in desicated coconut and some in icing sugar.
I then placed them in some pretty gold cases.
