THE BEST BROWNIES

Hi,
Some times at this time of year we can all get a bit depressed or sad that the festive season is over and we got back to school or work.BUT these are guaranteed to make you feel good.So a couple of years ago I was given this AMAZING brownie recipe and I thought I could change it up a little bit and show you the best brownie recipe ever.
You will need:
Ingredients:
  • 100g butter
  • 175g caster sugar
  • 75g brown sugar(light or dark)
  • 1 tbsp golden syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 medium eggs(beaten)
  • 100g plain flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • ( anything else you want in your brownie)

Equipment::
  • Brownie tin or medium sized cake pan
  • Large saucepan
  • Heat proof spatula
  • medium bowl
  • Scales

Method:
  1. Grease your chosen baking tin and line with baking parchment and preheat heat the oven to 150°C or gas mark 2.
  2. In your saucepan melt the sugars, butter, golden syrup and chocolate over gentle heat so you only melt them together and do not burn the chocolate.
  3. One it has melted make sure there are no lumps, take of the heat and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
  4. Beat in the eggs and vanilla essence with your spatula.
  5. In a separate bowl mix the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder together.
  6. Fold the flour mixture into the cooled down liquid and mix well making sure there is no lumps.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and make sure it is level.
  8. Place in the oven for 25 minutes.
  9. Place  skewer in the middle of the brownie and if it comes out clean it is cooked.
  10. Leave to cool for 5 minutes then portion the brownie and eat how you like or decorate like +danisnotonfire and +AmazingPhil did in there video HERE .
Please let me know if you have a go at home at these, there so easy and so yummy.Even send me a picture tag me on instagram or send it me on twitter.
